A very successful part of NRT's corporate strategy is to operate in strategic alliances in areas where partners can add significant value.  For instance, NRT has operated for a number of years in a strategic alliance with Marubeni Corporation, a major trading company in Japan, who provides sales and service for NRT systems in Japan.  Consequently NRT PET sorters dominate in the Japanese market.

We also have a sales representative in Europe and a strategic alliance with a European service company to provide repairs and service for our systems in Europe.

We utilize strategic industry alliances for targeted developments such as with the DOW Chemical Company in the development of a mid-IR spectroscopy based sorter for identifying and sorting barrier materials used in PET beverage packing, particularly of beer and fruit juices, resulting in a new technology with patent pending.

NRT has also formed the Spectramet LLC joint venture with wTe Corporation, a U.S. metals recycler for developing and applying our new x-ray fluorescence based technologies to sort metals by alloy types with high accuracy at production rates.
